GreatMountain Studs

We have several studs around the country who are looking for suitable mates. Currently, the three studs we have available are third generation crossbred Chinooks from GreatMountain X Trav'ler by GR CH 'PR' Sagahlie's Kaniksu Reign. Click here to view their pedigree. Progeny from these boys will be eligible to apply for UKC purebred registration if they meet the requirements of the COA Crossbreeding Program. All seven of the pups from this litter have good or excellent hips, normal eyes, fully descended testicles and are free of other health problems. GreatMountain X Coho

Coho makes friends wherever he goes. He is a very athletic and hikes for hours. He has not worked in harness, but has done extensive obedience work and has demonstrated great intelligence.

Sinamokst is co-owned by GreatMountain. He resides with Beth Wright in eastern New York.

GreatMountain X Sinamokst Red

Sinamokst is one happy dog. He doesn't actually ever stop wagging. He also loves to pull. He worked successfully in harness several times this winter, alone and in a team. His muscle development is absolutely impressive

A word about PennHIP evaluations. Hips are measured against other Chinooks in the registry. Dogs in the top half of the breed are recommended for breeding. The top half of the breed is determined by the median - which at the time of rating for the above dogs was .52.

Frozen Semen Available

Below is information on a 2nd generation cross available from our Cross line. Cedar is the brother of Trav'ler, the mother of the above listed studs. Cedar has only produced one puppy, who did not move forward in the breeding program because of a non-genetic health problem. He was neutered, but his semen is frozen and we have enough stored for at least four breedings.
