Macwahoc (Mac) is co-owned by GreatMountain and comes from a very healthy line.  He resides in Maine, not far from our farm.  He has met all of the eligibility requirements to become a UKC purebred and we expect him to be available as a purebred stud by September. Three of his siblings have already attained purebred status.  Don't let his longer coat fool you - he's got very nice conformation and some excellent features - the UKC Judge who evaluated him could not get over his head, his rear and his incredible side movement.  He also has a deep, broad chest.  He's an old-style freighting Chinook in the flesh!  Mac is first and foremost a loyal and loving family pet.  He is best friend to three young children and has a gentle, intuitive soul.  Information about his littermates available upon request.  Click here to see Mac's pedigree.  For more information, contact us at chinooks@roadrunner.com.

GreatMountain Studs - Available via Frozen Semen

GreatMountain X Cedar Adahi
Born September 26, 1999
Height: 25 inches
● Weight:  70lbs
CERF Normal ● GDC Good

Cedar is a 2nd generation crossbred Chinook available from our line.  Cedar is the brother of GreatMountain X North Trav'ler.  Cedar has only produced one puppy, who did not move forward in the breeding program because of a non-genetic health problem.  He was neutered, but his semen is frozen and we have enough stored for at least four breedings.  Cedar is a sweet, out-going boy who was an exceptional sled dog in his day.  At nearly 10 years of age, he has had no health problems.  Cedar is a throw-back to the old-style Chinooks.  His heavy bone, broad chest, short hocks, thickly padded paws and broad skull are missing in many modern dogs.  He is also right out of Chinook history - his great grandsire, Perry Greene Barrow, was one of the 1980 rescue dogs and his grandsire, Timbermist Yukon Jack, was a modern founder of the breed.  Click here to see Cedar's pedigree.  For more information, contact us at chinooks@roadrunner.com.
